Faranak Atrzadeh

Faranak Atrzadeh has joined OpGen Inc. as Chief Marketing and Scientific Affairs Officer after serving as Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs and Marketing at Curetis USA Inc.

Ms. Atrzadeh has over 20 years of experience building and leading marketing and scientific organizations for high growth biotech and medical diagnostic companies and has served in various leadership positions across marketing, business development, scientific affairs, and R&D with GenMark Diagnostics, The Binding Site, Alere, Ventana Medical Systems, and DAKO Corporation.

Ms. Atrzadeh holds a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an M.A. in Physiology and Cell Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
