Japheth Ruttoh

Japheth Ruttoh has work experience in various roles and companies. Japheth started their career at James Finlay (Kenya) Limited as a Data collecting and Entry assistant from September 2012 to May 2013. During their time there, they facilitated data analysis using statistical methods and conducted pilot plant experiments and general research activities for company projects.

After that, Japheth worked at Tealand Engineering 2001 Ltd as a Workshop Manager from June 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for supervising the workshop, ensuring staff safety, providing training on machine handling, and utilizing AutoCAD and CAM software to create technical drawings and operate CNC Waterjet cutting machines.

From November 2015 to December 2018, Japheth worked as a Quality Control Manager at ROMAGECO KENYA LIMITED (Brand names Rob's Magic or Team Magic). Their responsibilities included overseeing quality control in the workshop and production processes, implementing quality control policies and checkpoints, and maintaining records for reference on quality control issues.

Most recently, Japheth joined Roam in March 2019 and held multiple positions. Japheth started as a Production and Quality Management assistant from March 2019 to March 2020. Japheth then served as the Head of Operations Assistant from March 2020 to March 2021. Currently, Japheth holds the position of Head of Production at Roam, starting in April 2021.

Japheth Ruttoh completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Management Science from Egerton University from 2009 to 2012. Japheth then pursued further education at the University of Nairobi, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Operations and Technology Management from 2022 to 2024.
