Robert Luftglass

Robert Luftglass has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at OpSense, where they lead sales efforts for the company's IoT software solutions in the food industry. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Board Member at Acronym Investment, a company specializing in branding, product licensing, sales partnerships, and intellectual property protection in the cannabis industry.

Before joining OpSense and Acronym Investment, Robert had a long tenure at Verizon, starting in 1991. During their time at Verizon, they held various roles such as Group Sales Director, Sales Manager, and Business Development Manager. Robert was responsible for overseeing teams that acquired sales from national telecom, application, and cable/MSO customers. Their revenue responsibilities ranged from $100M to $350M annually, and they focused on coaching, collaboration, and driving revenue targets within their team. Robert also sold a broad portfolio of services ranging from basic telecom connectivity to custom managed solutions.

Prior to their tenure at Verizon, Robert worked at MCI, starting in 1984. During their time at MCI, they held roles as a Technical Consulting Manager, Marketing Manager, and Engineer. Robert successfully managed sales to large telecommunications accounts, primarily local exchange and wireless carriers, and achieved consistent revenue growth through value-added support and cross-functional collaboration.

Robert Luftglass received their B.A. degree in Mathematical Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University in the years 1979-1983. Following this, they pursued an MS degree in Operations Research from The George Washington University from 1983-1987.
