The Position 

OPSWAT is looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to build out our global bid management function, along with helping to support other commercial operations processes. OPSWAT is a rapidly growing cybersecurity company on a mission to protect the world’s critical infrastructure. Your role will be vital to ensuring our sales team can respond quickly and effectively to RFx requests, as well as helping to support and develop other key areas within the business including pricing and SFDC SKU catalogue management.

This role requires someone who is detail oriented and has experience building out and running a bid management process within a cybersecurity company. The individual should be agile and able to work effectively across the business, liaising with sales, product, legal and finance. The successful candidate will be familiar with bid management tools and have experience with their selection, setup and configuration. The individual should also be experienced and proficient in analytical techniques and process management. Part of this role will be supporting catalogue management and pricing within SFDC, so experience in this area is also desirable. This role involves both strategic developmental work, and the management of day-to-day activities and will require someone ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

Reporting to the Commercial Operations director, the Manager will work with leaders across the organization to build this function from the ground up.

This position is based in London. 

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Manage RFx process globally.
  • Define and implement new RFx process. 
  • Drive coordination and cadence with stakeholders including legal, finance, product management, and others to create, develop, and maintain collateral required to support the RFx process. 
  • Drive the tool selection, setup, configuration and management of an RFx tool. 
  • Define a 2-tier self-service / white glove bid management approach. 
  • Collaborate to develop training & enablement around the bid management process. 
  • Develop and Monitor KPI’s to track success (win rates, etc.).
  • Support catalogue management and pricing within SFDC.
  • Provide operational support around OPSWAT’s pricing strategy.
  • Run ad hoc operations projects requested by Senior Leadership.

 What We Need From You 

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred. 
  • 5-10 years of operational/bid management experience in high technology space, including bid management experience within a cybersecurity company.
  • Experience standing up and implementing new functions and processes. 
  • Metrics driven approach with an understanding of how to develop alignment & accountability within a cross functional team. 
  • A self-motivator who thrives in a growing and unpredictable environment. 
  • Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies. 
  • Extensive knowledge of SFDC and RFx/bid management tools. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • A successful track record of working effectively at all levels within the organization. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills. 
  • Meeting management and group process facilitation skills are required.
