Awabullah Syed

Awabullah Syed's work experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Engineer at Opteran starting in September 2022, a Communication and System Engineer for Project: Kestrel starting in September 2021, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Sheffield from March 2022 to August 2022. They also worked as a Robotics Engineer at Opteran from July 2021 to March 2022. Awabullah Syed participated in various hackathons and workshops, such as the Digital Transformation & AI Hackathon at Imperial College Business School in December 2021 and the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Workshop Course at Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence/University of Sheffield from October 2021 to December 2021. They also participated in the DXC Technology Innovation Challenge at DXC Technology in March 2021, and the ATCx Driving Innovation in Electric Powertrain at Altair in March 2021. Awabullah Syed's early work experience includes being an Aerodynamics Engineer for the Formula Student University of Sunderland from September 2017 to May 2018.

Awabullah Syed completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland from 2016 to 2019. Awabullah went on to pursue an MSc [Eng] degree in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield from 2020 to 2022.
