Eduardo S. has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and finance. Eduardo started their career as a Bookkeeper at Baird & Co., where they focused on customer service and honed their skills in Excel, VBA, and Sage 200. Eduardo then joined COMDAQ METALS LIMITED as a Broker, responsible for compiling invoices and overseeing Asian trading operations.

After that, Eduardo worked as a Compliance Officer at Baird & Co., where they directed risk assessment and mitigation initiatives. Eduardo was also involved in SAR preparation, reporting, staff training, and conformance moderation.

Following this, Eduardo joined Brooklands Fund Management Limited as a Compliance Associate, where they set up a framework to monitor regulatory requirements and contributed to FCA submissions. Eduardo also played a role in client visitation and internal policy reviewing, as well as innovative AI designs.

Later, Eduardo moved to Brooks Macdonald as a Compliance Advisory Analyst. In this role, they maintained and advised on various compliance procedures, reviewed financial promotions, and handled general compliance queries. Eduardo also streamlined processes through automation.

Currently, Eduardo is working as a Senior Compliance Associate at Optima Partners Compliance Advisory.

Eduardo S. pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2011, they enrolled in London Metropolitan University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Mathematics in 2014. Later, in 2018, they joined the International Compliance Association to enhance their knowledge in compliance and earned the ICA International Diploma in AML/CFT in 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the ICA Professional Membership certification from the International Compliance Association in March 2023.
