Mathew Jonsson has a diverse work experience in the field of digital marketing and sales. Mathew started their career at Tru-Test Group in 2011, working in the Service Department. Mathew then moved on to The University of Auckland, where they served as a Mentor from 2012 to 2014. After that, Mathew worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst at Catchi in 2014. Mathew then joined Diamond Wireless as a Sales Associate in 2015.

In 2016, Mathew took up roles as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Techtronic Industries - TTI and as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Avis Budget Group. At Isuzu Utes New Zealand Ltd, they continued their digital marketing career as a Digital Marketing Specialist from 2017 to 2019. Mathew then joined Inspire Global Networks in 2019 as a Digital Marketing Specialist.

In 2020, Mathew joined TAB NZ as a Marketing Automation Specialist, where they worked until 2022. Mathew then joined Optimal Workshop in 2022, initially as a Marketing Automation Specialist and then as a Marketing Operations Manager from 2023 onwards.

Mathew Jonsson attended Botany Downs Secondary College from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.

From 2010 to 2013, Mathew studied at The University of Auckland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business and Information Management. Their focus of study at the university was in the fields of Marketing and Information Management.
