Arvin Yaple is a dedicated research assistant at the University of Michigan's Weissman Attention and Cognitive Control Lab, focusing on the impact of distractions on attention and decision-making. In addition, Arvin serves as the Technology Operations Lead for the optiMize Social Innovation Challenge, where leadership and project management skills are utilized to support student business ideas. Prior internship experience at PwC involved establishing competencies in professional and leadership skills. Earlier roles as a barista and volunteer in various health departments contributed to the development of customer service, project management, and bedside manner skills. Arvin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Michigan.
