Mrunalini Parvataneni

Mrunalini Parvataneni, MD has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Mrunalini currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Executive Coach at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 2022. Mrunalini is also an Expert in Residence at DigitalDx Ventures since 2023. In 2021, they held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Optina Diagnostics, where they focused on detecting the cause of memory loss. Dr. Parvataneni also served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University starting in 2022. Mrunalini has been involved in the Board Committee for Quality and Safety at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since 2021. Prior to these roles, starting in 2017, they worked as a Strategic Advisor for various health tech companies, providing guidance on GTM, messaging, hiring, culture-building, and team alignment. Mrunalini also served on the Medical Advisory Board at Medcorder from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Physician Partner and part of the Clinical Governance Board at Unifeye Vision Partners. Dr. Parvataneni's extensive experience includes serving as a Board Member, Executive Committee member, Surgeon, and Owner at Northwest Eye from 2002 to 2018, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth and successful sale to Private Equity in 2018.

Mrunalini Parvataneni, MD, holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from The University of the West Indies, Mona, which was obtained from 1989 to 1996. Mrunalini completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University from 1996 to 1998, followed by an Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University at Buffalo from 1998 to 2001. In 2001 to 2002, they studied Pediatric Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. Mrunalini also received a Mini MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of St. Thomas in 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Parvataneni obtained certifications in Negotiation & Influence from UC Berkeley Executive Education in 2021 and in AI for Everyone from Coursera in 2020. Mrunalini also completed a course on Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing our Digital Future at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020.
