Irven Aelbrecht

Irven Aelbrecht began their work experience in 2013 with a summer internship at Newtec. In 2014, they joined Ghent University as a PHD Student, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they moved to Thrinno and served as a MEAN stack Software Developer until 2018. Irven then joined Oqton, Inc in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2021. During their time at Oqton, Inc, they held roles as a Lead Software Engineer and was responsible for developing AI infrastructure and building infrastructure for microservice components and their orchestration. The end date for their role at Oqton, Inc is not specified.

Irven Aelbrecht pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their studies at the provinciaal technisch instituut Hamme from 2002 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a degree in Industriële Wetenschappen. Following that, they attended Ghent University from 2008 to 2012, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Continuing their education, from 2012 to 2014, Irven Aelbrecht furthered their studies at Ghent University and achieved a Master's Degree in the same field of study.
