Beste Ilke Alparslan

Beste Ilke Alparslan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Beste Ilke started their career as an intern at Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) in 2015, where they analyzed the effect of different subsystems on satellite design and manufacturing. Beste Ilke also worked as an intern at TUBITAK UZAY in 2016, focusing on calculating collision probability between space objects and visualizing the results. In 2017, they served as an Academic Assistant at the International Space University. Beste Ilke gained experience as a Technical Writer at BITES - Defence & Aerospace Technologies in 2018. The following year, they interned at OKAPI: Orbits GmbH. Beste Ilke joined TEI - TUSAş Engine Industries, Inc. in 2021 as a System Safety and RMT Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed at Orbex as a System Safety and Regulatory Engineer.

Beste Ilke Alparslan began their education journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association from 2012 to 2017. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in Chinese Studies at Shanghai International Studies University for a period of one year in 2015.

In 2018, Beste Ilke Alparslan enrolled at the Sapienza Università di Roma to pursue a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, which lasted until 2022. Additionally, in the same year, they took part in the Space Studies Program (SSP18) at the International Space University.
