Laura Erker

Laura Erker has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare and research. Laura began their career as a Research Assistant at Cal State San Marcos in 1996 and later worked as a Research Technician at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Laura then pursued higher education and worked as a Graduate Student at UCSD from 1999 to 2004. Laura continued their research career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at UC Santa Barbara and later as a Post-doctoral Scholar at Oregon Health & Science University. In 2010, Laura joined OHSU Casey Eye Institute as a Senior Clinical Trials Manager. Laura eventually took on the role of Executive Director, Casey Reading Center and later became the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Oregon Health and Science University in 2019. Laura's work experience showcases their expertise in research, clinical trials management, and leadership in strategic partnerships.

Laura Erker received their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from California State University San Marcos in 1997. Laura then went on to complete their PhD in Biomedical Science-Genetics at UC San Diego School of Medicine, graduating in 2005.
