Duane Smith

Duane Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the public media sector. Currently serving as the CTO and Vice President of Technology at Oregon Public Broadcasting since January 2015, Duane is responsible for the strategic direction of the Technology Department. Prior to this role, Duane was the Vice President and COO of JCT Services from January 2013 to January 2015, overseeing a team that built and managed a network operations center for twelve public media stations. Duane's earlier experience includes positions as the Director of Technology and Engineering Manager at WJCT from December 1997 to January 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing the engineering department's daily operations.
