Kara Obermire

Kara Obermire has an extensive academic and professional background in accounting, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Oregon State University since June 2016, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Kara was a Doctoral Student of Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2016. Additional experience includes working as a Lecturer of Accounting at The Ohio State University for a year, an Adjunct Instructor of Accounting at the University of Montana for one year, and several roles at Deloitte, including Audit Senior from 2006 to 2009 and Audit Intern in 2004.
