Rohit Kurup

Rohit Kurup has a diverse work experience in various roles within the business development and sales field. Rohit currently holds the position of Sales Business Development - ANZ at O'Reilly Media since January 2022. Prior to this, Rohit worked as a Sr. Business Development professional at SumTotal Systems, LLC from May 2020 to January 2022. Rohit also has experience as a Business Development Manager at Osmosys India from November 2018 to June 2020, where they managed sales teams, set sales targets, and implemented improvements in sales administration processes.

Before that, Rohit worked at CipherCloud as a Senior - Account Development from January 2017 to May 2018, where they successfully developed and implemented strategic business development and account management programs. Rohit was responsible for closing large enterprise-level deals and leading customer expansion.

Rohit's work experience also includes a role as a Team Lead Business Development at ValueLabs from April 2014 to April 2017. In this position, they sourced new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails. Rohit also managed a team of seven people and collaborated with field sales to close deals.

Additionally, Rohit worked as a Business Development Executive - IT Sales at Qvantel from January 2013 to February 2014. Rohit was responsible for developing a strong sales pipeline, converting leads into new business, and managing existing client accounts.

Rohit started their career at Barclays as a Relationship Acquisition Manager from August 2011 to December 2012. Rohit also worked as a Customer Service Executive at HSBC from June 2009 to October 2010, where they provided high-quality customer service to mortgage clients.

Rohit Kurup completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in commerce from Bhavans Vivekananda Degree College from the year 2006 to 2009. Rohit then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Dhruva College of Management between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Rohit also obtained a Diploma in Social Media Marketing from www.alison.com in May 2012.
