Quintin Spey

Quintin Spey graduated with his Bachelor of Science in chemical and biological engineering from Tufts University. During his undergraduate studies, Quintin conducted research as a member of the Kaplan Lab. His primary areas of focus included the production and purification of recombinant silk-elastin-like-protein copolymers, and the development of a bacterial/mammalian co-culture, 3D model of the small intestine.

Quintin’s time at a stealth biotech startup provided him insight into the biotechnology industry, which he gained while developing a novel microbial-gene therapy platform. Quintin joined the OrganaBio team with four years of laboratory-related research and problem-solving experience in fields ranging from molecular biology to tissue engineering and brought with him skills in assay development and primary mammalian cell culture.
