Tahira Bashir is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in various security roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as a Security Officer at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since November 2021, Tahira previously held the position of Senior Security Officer at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon from March 2017 to July 2021 and worked as a Security Officer there prior. Prior to that, Tahira served as Deputy Superintendent of Police with the National Highways & Motorway Police in Pakistan for over 15 years, and as a Police Advisor with UNAMID for a brief period in 2011. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's degree in Political Science, both obtained from the University of the Punjab.
