Fabrice PIU

Fabrice PIU has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Fabrice began their career as a PhD researcher at Ecole Normale Superieure Lyon in France, where they conducted research from September 1991 to January 1994. Fabrice then became a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California at San Diego, working from February 1995 to October 1997.

In 1997, Fabrice joined ACADIA Pharmaceuticals and held various roles within the company. Fabrice started as a Principal Scientist from November 1997 to October 1999, then became a Group Leader from November 1999 to August 2004. Fabrice was later promoted to Director of Chemical Genomics, a position they held from September 2004 to August 2008.

Following their time at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Fabrice joined Otonomy, Inc in 2008. Fabrice started as a Senior Director of Research and worked there until December 2012. From December 2012 to January 2023, they served as the Vice President of Research & Preclinical Development, and then became the Senior Vice President of the same department from April 2021 until January 2023.

Fabrice's most recent role is as the Vice President of Research & Development at Organovo Holdings, Inc, which they started in January 2023.

Fabrice PIU has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from École normale supérieure de Lyon. Additionally, they hold an MSc in Genetics and Immunology from Universite Lyon.
