Krista Bowman

Krista Bowman is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at ORIC Pharmaceuticals since January 2020. Previously, Krista held roles as Project Manager and Encore Fellow at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and spent over a decade at Genentech, where progression from Senior Scientific Manager to Principal Scientific Manager II involved leading a department focused on drug discovery and team development. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Exelixis and Axys Pharmaceuticals, contributing to the discovery of new medicines and managing cross-departmental collaborations. Krista holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Emory University, a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi, and completed postdoctoral research at Stanford University in DNA repair mechanisms.
