Cara Rosen

Cara Rosen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cara started their career as an intern at ATK Launch Systems, where they worked as an Inert Materials Design Engineer and later as an Inert Quality Engineer. During their time at these roles, they gained experience in conducting studies, analyzing test data, and improving measurement techniques.

Following ATK Launch Systems, Cara worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at CSM Explosives Department, where they led a large-scale experiment and collaborated with graduate students and faculty on research projects related to explosives.

Cara then joined Orica as a Graduate Rotation Associate, where they served as a technical analyst for the Group Executive & President of North America. In this role, they specialized in market and business analysis, managed testing and support data for new explosive initiating systems, and provided support for the global implementation of an online customer management platform.

Cara's progression at Orica continued as they took on roles ranging from Technical Services Engineer to Technical Services Lead, in which they utilized their technical expertise and problem-solving skills to provide custom solutions to blasting challenges. During their tenure, they drove innovation by implementing drone technology in blasting and worked with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure customer and company success.

Their most recent role at Orica was as the Territory Manager - US Northeast, where they were responsible for managing and developing the market in the region. Currently, Cara holds the position of Head of Marketing, North America at Orica.

Cara Rosen completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines from 2008 to 2013. Cara then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Penn State World Campus between 2019 and 2021.
