Wendy Fleming

Wendy Fleming has a strong background in quality engineering and project management. Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming, is currently serving as the SVP of Quality Engineering at Orion Advisor Solutions, where they are focused on building a quality engineering CoE and promoting a total quality management culture within the organization. Wendy is also responsible for defining quality KPIs to measure product deliveries and educating the management team on quality assurance and QA processes.

Prior to their current role, Wendy held the position of Sr. VP of Quality Engineering at Orion Advisor Tech, where they built a high-performing QA team and implemented effective Agile QA processes. Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming, also played a key role in driving a strategic approach to automated testing in UI and API. Wendy enjoyed guiding QA team members on best practices and providing training on QA analysis and test design.

Before joining Orion, Wendy worked at Fiserv/Tegra118 as the Head of Quality Engineering and Program Management. In this role, they coached teams to adopt Scrum/Kanban mindset and practices, resulting in a 15% reduction in go-to-market timeline for Billing System deliveries. Wendy also promoted Lean Agile practices within the SAFe framework and fostered a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Earlier in their career, Wendy served as the Manager of Quality Assurance at CheckFree, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of three large software systems for Investment Service. Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming, also helped build SDLC processes for an onshore/offshore team model and promoted a total quality culture within the organization.

Wendy has also held positions as a QA Architect and Director at PortBlue, Quality Assurance Manager at Shopzilla, and Automation Lead QA at Aderant.

Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, which was obtained in 2002. Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming, also has a Master of Science (MS) degree from The University of Southern Mississippi, although the field of study is not specified. Additionally, Wendy has obtained multiple certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2014 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2005. Wendy (Wenyuan) Fleming, also holds a certification in Certified SAFe® 5.0 Advanced Scrum Master, obtained from Scaled Agile.
