Melanie Bliessen

Melanie Bliessen has extensive work experience in human resources, with their most recent role as the Head of HR [GER] at Ornua since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an International HR Business Partner at RWE Renewables from August 2019 to September 2021. Melanie also took a sabbatical to travel in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia from January to July 2019. Before that, they served as an HR Manager at Diesel, overseeing the DACH, BNLX, and Nordic regions from October 2017 to December 2018, and as an HR Manager for the DACH region from February 2016 to December 2018. In addition, Melanie worked as a Human Resources Manager at ASICS from September 2014 to January 2016 and held various HR roles at SC Johnson from 2008 to 2014, including Lead Human Resources Business Partner for DACH, HR Associate for European HQ, HR Specialist for DACH, Sales Force Assistant, and Sales Support Specialist. Melanie began their career as a Junior Product Manager at DATA BECKER GmbH & Co. KG in April 2007 and briefly worked as a Marketing Coordinator (temp cover) at Hill-Rom from January to March 2007.

Melanie Bliessen pursued their education at the University of Applied Sciences Paderborn from 2003 to 2006. During this period, they completed a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on International Business.
