Data Engineering Team Lead at OroraTech

Dmitry Rashkovetsky has a diverse work history spanning several companies and roles. Dmitry started their career in 2009 as a Photogrammetry R&D engineer at the Mapping and Geo-information Center of the Israel Ministry of Defense. Dmitry then became the Head of Digital Elevation Data Department in 2013 and later transitioned to the role of Head of GIS Database Administration Department in 2016.

In 2019, Dmitry joined the Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut as a Working Student, where they worked until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Working Student at the Technical University of Munich from February 2020 to July 2020.

Since 2020, Dmitry has been working at OroraTech, initially as a Working Student from April 2020 to November 2020. Dmitry then transitioned to the role of Remote Sensing Engineer from December 2020 to July 2022. Currently, Dmitry holds the position of Data Engineering Team Lead at OroraTech, starting from July 2022.

Dmitry Rashkovetsky earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Mapping and Geo-information engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued further educational advancement at the Technical University of Munich from 2018 to 2020, achieving a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in ESPACE - Earth Oriented Space Science and Technology.
