James Wood

Head of Product Design Engineering at Osler Diagnostics

James Wood has worked in various roles since 2008. James began their career as a Technical Programme Manager at Xerox in 2008, where they managed the technology development and robust engineering of various new technologies relating to Xerographic printers. In 2011, they moved to HCL Technologies as a Technical Programme Manager, and in 2014 they became the Manager of the Mechanical Systems Group at HCL UK Ltd. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Architecture at MBDA, and they are currently the Head of Product Design Engineering at Osler Diagnostics since 2021.

James Wood obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London between 1990 and 1994. James attended Wymondham College from 1982 to 1989. In 2010, they obtained a Black Belt DfLSS certification. In 1997, they obtained a Chartered Engineer certification from the Institute Mechanical Engineers.
