Irina Bauer has extensive experience in compliance and legal roles within the financial sector. Starting as a Legal Assistant at Thacher Proffitt & Wood from April 2007 to November 2008, Irina progressed to a Legal Intern at The Regulatory Fundamentals Group in June 2011. Following this, a role as a Compliance Associate at OBEX Group, LLC was held from November 2011 to May 2012, and a Summer Associate position in the Department of General Counsel at Credit Suisse from June 2012 to April 2013. Irina served as a Compliance Examiner II for OTC Derivatives at the National Futures Association from September 2013 to February 2015 and then worked as a Senior Analyst for Global OTC Regulatory Reform at Macquarie Group from March 2015 to March 2018. Subsequently, from April 2018 to November 2018, Irina took on the role of Compliance Officer at NEX, before becoming Director of Americas Compliance at CME Group from November 2018 to October 2025. Currently, Irina holds the position of Head of NEX SEF Compliance at OSTTRA since October 2025.
