Dermot Horan

Dermot Horan has had a diverse work experience in the sales and marketing industry. Dermot currently serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Western Europe and North West Africa at Oterra since November 2019. Prior to that, they held various positions at Chr. Hansen Holding A/S, including Vice President of Sales for Global Strategic Accounts and Director of Global Strategic Accounts. Dermot also worked as Business Development Director for Beverage & Dietary Supplements and Business Manager for Middle East and Africa in Natural Colours. Dermot began their career as a National Account Manager at Chr. Hansen Holding A/S. Before that, they worked as an Account Manager at The Healy Group and as a Technologist at Rye Valley.

Dermot Horan attended Ballyfin College from 1989 to 1994. Dermot then obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Food Science and Technology from Technological University Dublin from 1994 to 1998.
