Abby Scarborough

Abby Scarborough has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Abby is currently the Head of Commercial Operations at Otta.com, where they have played a key role in optimizing the company's commercial success through data analysis, system implementation, and revenue growth strategies. Prior to this, Abby served as the Commercial Operations Lead and Customer Success Lead at Otta.com, where they were responsible for building and growing the Customer Success team, improving customer retention rates, and implementing effective processes for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Before joining Otta.com, Abby was the Co-Founder of Yena, a modern membership organization for startups. In this role, they were responsible for managing all operations, including business strategies, company culture, and community engagement through Rebel Meetups. Abby also served as the Head of Operations at Yena.

Abby has also gained experience in the finance and social enterprise sectors. Abby worked as the Community Innovation Fund Co-ordinator at Bristol and Bath Regional Capital, where they managed a pilot project for entrepreneurs in deprived areas. Additionally, they have worked with organizations such as Uncaged Ventures, Deki, Student Hubs, and SoleShare in various roles including researcher, enterprise facilitator, fundraising officer, and statistics and business development intern.

Abby's skills and experiences in commercial operations, customer success, community engagement, and entrepreneurship make their a valuable asset in driving business growth and optimizing processes.

Abby Scarborough completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Quantitative Research Methods from the University of Bristol, where they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Riddlesdown Collegiate from 2006 to 2013, where they completed their High School education, focusing on GCSEs and A Levels.
