Finlay Clark

Finlay Clark has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Finlay is currently serving as the VP Commercial at Otta.com since January 2022. Prior to this, from April 2020 to November 2021, they held the position of Chief of Growth at ARRIVAL.

In their earlier roles, Finlay worked at Waze as the UK Country Manager from January 2017 to February 2020. Finlay was responsible for leading the business and operations in the UK, including team building, strategy development, and revenue generation through their advertising platform. Before that, they served as the Head of UK Sales at Waze from March 2016 to December 2016, where they effectively communicated the value of Waze's advertising platform to agencies and advertisers.

Finlay's career also includes a tenure at Google, where they held multiple positions. From December 2013 to February 2016, they worked as the Industry Head, Retail, leading Google's Home Improvement client portfolio and influencing clients to maximize their use of Google's products. Prior to that, they held the position of Industry Manager at Google from September 2010 to November 2013.

Before joining Google, Finlay worked at Bigmouthmedia, first as a Senior Account Manager from March 2005 to January 2007, and then as the Senior Retail Strategist from February 2007 to August 2010. In these roles, they were responsible for client retention, portfolio growth, and building relationships with top-tier retail brands.

Finlay's career began in the hospitality industry, where they worked in restaurants to support their education. Finlay spent four years at the Cults Hotel in Aberdeen and another four years at The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh, where they were part of the opening team in 2001.

Additionally, Finlay has also worked as a Press Researcher/Editor at Newsdirect (UK) Ltd from February 2004 to March 2005.
