Ottawa Hospital Research Institute
Margarita Lui is a skilled research technician at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, contributing to the Dr. Ian Lorimer Lab since September 2019. Previously, Margarita served as a graduate research assistant in the Dr. Jing Wang Lab while completing a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa from September 2019 to April 2022. Margarita's earlier experience includes a role as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa, where Margarita was recognized with the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, as well as multiple undergraduate research positions at Carleton University. Margarita completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health (Honours) at Carleton University in April 2019, with a focus on age-related and post-stroke expression of Narp in mice undertakings within the Dr. Patrice Smith Lab.
