Tim Beynon

Tim Beynon is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as a Software Team Lead and GIS Analyst at the Ottawa Police Service since September 2009, focusing on the implementation of a Decision Support System using ESRI Arc Server and SQL Server. Previous roles include GIS Analyst for the Government of Canada, where Tim created a medium-scale mapping system with ArcMAP, and Consultant at RaceDV, conducting research on GPS specifications. Tim began as an independent GIS Consultant, providing analysis and mapping services, and earlier worked as a GIS Technician at Natural Resources Canada (GSC). Tim holds a B.A. in Geomatics from Carleton University, obtained in 2008.
