Dennis Nelson

Dennis Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dennis started their career at BD in 2006 as an R&D Engineer and went on to hold various positions such as Operations Leader, Process Engineer, Injection Molding Engineer, and Sr. Molding Operations Leader. During their time at BD, Dennis demonstrated leadership skills by supervising a team of 30 direct reports and leading Kaizen Blitzes to support process improvements. Dennis also managed mold experiments and design improvements for high-volume plastic component projects, implementing data transformation tools that saved time for Molding Engineers. In 2016, Dennis transitioned to Otter Products, where they initially worked as an International Product Manager and later became a Sr. Manager for Business Incubation. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Commercial Products at Otter Products.

Dennis Nelson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Brigham Young University - Marriott School of Management from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. In 2004, Dennis also pursued a study abroad program at the University of Wollongong, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.
