Alice Forman

Behavioural Science Lead at Our Future Health

Alice Forman has a diverse work experience in the field of research and healthcare. Alice is currently working as the Behavioural Science Lead at Our Future Health UK since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UCL where they held the roles of Principal Research Fellow from October 2019 to September 2021, and Senior Research Associate from November 2014 to October 2019.

Before their time at UCL, Alice worked at the Department of Primary Care and Public Health Sciences, King's College London as a Research Fellow. In this role, they evaluated health service use in South London, specifically focusing on diabetic retinopathy screening and the NHS health checks program. Additionally, they provided research design and methodology consultancy to academics and clinicians to support their research funding applications as a research design adviser for the London Research Design Service.

Alice's earlier work experience includes being a Post-doctoral researcher at the Promoting Early Presentation Group, King's College London. In this role, they coordinated a team to integrate a psycho-educational intervention into routine clinics in NHS breast screening services. Alice also managed the evaluation of the intervention's impact on the women receiving it during the pilot services, while examining the feasibility, acceptability, and cost-effectiveness of implementing it on a national scale.

Alice Forman completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health/Medical Psychology at King's College London from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Health/Medical Psychology at UCL, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010.
