Tina McGovern

Tina McGovern has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tina currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at Out & Equal since February 2023. Previously, they worked at Electra.aero as the Chief of Staff & Director of HR from June 2021 to February 2023, and as an Operations Manager from May 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they served as an Operations Manager at The Concinnity Company from December 2018 to May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Operations Consultant at McGovern Administrative Solutions from January 2016 to December 2018. Tina's earlier experiences include working as a Special Education Teacher at Prince William County Public Schools from November 2012 to August 2013, as an Executive Assistant and Program Coordinator at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation from December 2010 to October 2012, and as a Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living from September 2009 to August 2010. Tina began their professional career at General Dynamics, where they served as a Senior Recruiting Coordinator from June 2007 to September 2009.

Tina McGovern earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from Carson-Newman University. Tina attended the university from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Special Education at George Mason University from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Tina obtained several certifications including SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in December 2022, CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in July 2022, and HubSpot Marketing Software Certification and HubSpot Sales Software Certification from HubSpot in May and March 2020 respectively.
