About the Token Growth Team 

Our purpose and focus at Outlier is to support the best Web3 founders globally. We work with a leading team of experts, helping accelerate their growth and drive mass adoption.  Via our headline program, Ascent, and via tailored ecosystem growth engagements, we help web3 projects at each stage of their token development, in the lead-up to going live or supporting a token in-market, through to inspiring and activating a community of passionate network stakeholders and community members.

About the role

In this role, you will be working in a focused skunkworks team at Outlier, to dynamically partner with web3 projects going to market to grow their network, community and impact.

You will be supporting the Token Launch team to launch and grow a broad range of web3 communities and digital assets. This role is focused on building awareness, partnerships and connections for our partners and portfolio companies with industry players and communities 

Web3 growth partner

  • Partnering with founders and web3 project teams on supporting on various aspects of token launches

  • Originating and developing relationships with KOLs, exchanges, launchpads and other online communities

  • Creating strategies for token launches and community growth

  • Supporting portfolio companies to develop growth strategies

  • Be on top of the latest trends in token launch approaches and components (growth mechanics, listings, fundraising and etc.)

  • Creating and supporting portfolio companies on launch and growth strategies

  • Project managing launch and ecosystem growth campaigns

Relationship development

  • Act as a focal point to bring the OV network to the cohort
  • Network building and mapping among markets, exchanges and external partners
  • Researching and analysing data to support founder outcomes
  • Actively contributing to the blockchain/cryptocurrencies community
  • Participate in offline and online events to bring awareness to Ascent program

Project management

  • Managing internal workflows and driving process improvements

  • Report project performance based on business objectives and agreed key performance indicators.

  • Help teams set goals and maintain accountability.

  • Working cross-functionally with our in-house expert teams

We are looking for someone who has the following:

Essential skills

  • An understanding of community development and ecosystem growth in web3

  • Network and relationships in the web3 growth space

  • A connector and enabler who can pull together subject matter experts, team members and partners

  • Obsession with blockchain/cryptocurrencies

Personal attributes

  • 2-3 years of experience gained as an analyst, marketing manager or community lead

  • An organised problem solver with high agency and a lifelong learner

  • Comfortable with complexity and insatiably curious

  • Strong desire and drive to succeed

  • Hard working with a positive attitude

Package is subject to relevant experience. It will bias towards performance related bonuses, including the opportunity to invest directly into pre-launch token projects on the same terms as the Outlier Ventures partnership
