Brian Mahony

Brian Mahony's work experience includes positions at various companies and organizations. Brian is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at Output Sports since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Rheumotix from 2021 to 2023. Brian also worked as a Medical Research Fellow at the National University of Ireland, Galway from 2022 to 2022. Additionally, they served as a BioInnovate Fellow at BioInnovate Ireland from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on developing solutions in digital therapeutics and connected health. Brian also served on the Board of Directors at Galway Chamber from 2020 to 2021. From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Connacht Rugby, where they led the commercial and marketing function. Prior to this, they held various roles at the International Triathlon Union, including Director of Marketing & Global Projects, Director of Communications, Media & Television, and Head of Digital Media, from 2004 to 2016. Brian also founded Tribe Solutions Inc in 2014. Before that, they co-founded Riceworks in 2002 and worked as an Aeronautical Engineer at Boeing from 2000 to 2001.

Brian Mahony completed a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick from 1998 to 2002. In 2019, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Executive Leadership and Coaching from Kingstown College. Following that, from 2020 to 2021, Brian pursued a Master's Degree in BioInnovation from the University of Galway. Presently, they are studying Sleep: Neurobiology, Medicine, and Society at the University of Michigan Medical School, expected to be completed in 2022. In 2020, Brian obtained a certification as an Executive and Leadership Coach from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
