Chance Fakih

Chance Fakih has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2016, they started as a Research Assistant at the UW Stress and Development Lab, where they facilitated a research study on the effects of stressful environments on behavior. Chance was responsible for tasks such as data management, participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, and running sessions.

Around the same time, in 2016, Chance also created and produced a weekly podcast called SoundsGood Sundays. Chance recorded, mixed, and produced each episode.

In 2016, Chance collaborated with three students at the UW Human Performance Lab to design and facilitate a research experiment measuring the effects of stress on test performance. The experiment involved manipulating stress levels in participants and measuring their test performance. The findings were presented to a board of Psychology professors.

In 2017, Chance worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Seattle Bay Auto dba. Klean Carz. Chance was responsible for sales and marketing activities.

Chance also worked as a Digital Marketing Freelancer at ChanceDigital from 2017 to 2018. This role involved providing digital marketing services on a freelance basis.

In 2017, Chance was a Research Collaborator at the UW Zoo Animal Behavior Lab. Chance collaborated with a partner to design and conduct a research study on animal behavior, specifically comparing the behavior of two different otter species held in the Woodland Park Zoo.

From 2016 to 2017, Chance worked as a Radio Promotions Assistant and Part-time Radio Promotions Event Staff at the Sinclair Broadcast Group. In these roles, they assisted in promotions, marketing, and event coordination for radio stations such as KOMO News Radio, STAR 101.5, and 570 KVI Talk Radio. Chance also oversaw various programs, including the STAR 101.5's Teacher of the Week program.

In 2019, Chance worked as an Account Manager at iClick, where they managed customer accounts.

In 2021, Chance became a Business Development Representative at Lunchbox, a role they held until 2022.

Currently, Chance is working as a Sales Development Representative - Commercial at Outreach, starting in July 2022.

Chance Fakih obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, where they attended from 2012 to 2017.
