Manager, Segment Marketing at Outreach

Chris Branding has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chris started their career as an Event Coordinator at Heroes and Legends Sports Memorabilia, where they oversaw charity auctions in the St. Louis metro area. Chris then worked as an Account Coordinator at JWT before joining Ticketmaster Entertainment as a Marketing Intern.

Chris then took on the role of Senior Manager, Kansas City Community at WAKA Kickball & Social Sports, where they provided customer service and managed relationships with players, vendors, and partners. After that, they became a Marketing Manager at Codero Hosting, where they worked until 2014.

From 2014 to 2018, Chris worked at Rackspace as a Marketing Programs Manager, leading global marketing campaign strategy and execution for the Public Cloud portfolio. Chris achieved significant revenue growth and exceeded goals for the Fanatical Support for AWS business unit.

In 2018, Chris joined TrendKite as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager and continued in the same role at Cision after the acquisition, where they built and expanded the customer marketing function. Chris'steam's campaigns generated over $3M in customer upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.

In 2020, Chris moved to Snow Software as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager, leading the customer marketing team to increase customer engagement, product usage, and support renewals globally.

Currently, Chris works at Outreach as Manager, Customer Marketing, starting in 2021.

Chris Branding attended Drake University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. In 2008, they enrolled at Webster University and completed their Master of Arts degree in Advertising and Marketing in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2011, they became a Webtrends Certified Analyst. In 2015, they achieved the AWS Business Professional Accreditation and AWS Technical Professional Accreditation, both from Amazon Web Services. Most recently, in 2020, they earned the Certified AdvocateHub Associate certification from the Influitive Institute. Chris also holds certifications such as the Outreach Closing Specialist and Outreach Prospecting Specialist, both obtained in 2023, as well as the G2 Core Certificate received in 2023.
