Doug Casanova

Doug Casanova has extensive experience in the IT industry. Doug is currently serving as the Senior Director of IT at Outreach since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Smartsheet as the Director of IT Infrastructure from November 2018 to March 2022. Before Smartsheet, they were associated with Intellectual Ventures for a significant period. At Intellectual Ventures, they held various roles, including Senior Manager of Systems Engineering and Operations from January 2012 to July 2018, Infrastructure Manager of Production Operations from January 2009 to January 2012, and Systems Engineer from March 2008 to January 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked at Denali Advanced Integration as a Practice Manager of Enterprise Engineering from December 2004 to March 2008. Doug also has experience as a Desktop/System Administrator at NBBJ Design from March 1998 to December 2004. Throughout their career, Doug Casanova has demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in managing IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and operations.

Doug Casanova has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Doug also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Microbiology from Highline College.

In addition to their formal education, Doug has obtained several certifications. In 2001, they earned the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft. In 2006, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Windows 2000 and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Messaging on Windows 2000 certifications from Microsoft. In 2006, they also became a VMware Certified Professional 2 from VMware. In 2008, Doug obtained the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Windows 2000 and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Windows 2003 certifications from Microsoft, as well as the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Messaging on Windows 2003 certification. Doug further obtained the ITIL v3.0 Foundations certification in 2010. Finally, in 2011, Doug completed the Technology Executive Leadership Academy (TELA) program offered by Woods Creek Consulting and became a Smartsheet Certified User through Smartsheet in 2018.
