Malik Dent has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. They started their career as an Executive Team Leader Intern at Target in 2016 and later transitioned into the role of Executive Team Leader Human Resources. In 2019, they joined Dyson as a Human Resources Generalist and worked there until 2020. After that, they worked at Amazon as a Human Resources Business Partner from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Malik Dent holds the position of Associate People Business Partner at Outreach, where they provide expert guidance and support to department managers in various HR functions. In November 2022, Malik Dent was promoted to the role of People Business Partner at Outreach, where they lead HR business initiatives, coach and advise business partners on employee matters, and manage projects related to HR trainings and resources.

Malik Dent, MSHRM completed their Bachelor's Degree in Organizational/Corporate Communications from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Malik then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, specializing in Human Resources Management and Services, during the period from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, in December 2022, Malik obtained a certification as a Human Resources Consultant from IAP Career College.
