Tomáš Bergl

Tomáš Bergl has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tomáš is currently the Senior Director of Engineering at Outreach since November 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director of Engineering, Building Outreach Prague from February 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Engineering Manager, Building Outreach Prague from February 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining Outreach, Tomáš worked at Microsoft for several years, starting in July 2012. Their roles at Microsoft include Principal Software ENG Manager from March 2017 to January 2020, Principal Software Engineer from March 2016 to March 2017, and Senior Software Engineer from July 2012 to March 2016.

Prior to their time at Microsoft, Tomáš worked at Skype as a Senior Software Developer from July 2012 to January 2020. Tomáš was responsible for developing Skype for Windows 8 and Skype for Web during their tenure.

Before Skype, Tomáš worked at ESET as a Developer from March 2011 to July 2012. Tomáš began their career at Opera as a C++ Developer from June 2008 to March 2011. At Opera, they worked on Android and Windows CE web browser development and various B2B projects.

Tomáš also has experience working as a Java Developer at Unicorn in 2005.

During their time there, they pursued a degree in Computer Graphic, earning the title "Ing" upon completion. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance.
