Chris Burton

Chris Burton has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis. Chris currently holds the position of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Outset Medical, Inc. Since joining in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NuVasive as a Senior Director in both Corporate Finance and Commercial Finance from August 2018 to February 2023. Burton also served as the Director of Investor Relations at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. from October 2015 to August 2018. Before that, they worked at BD as a Manager in International Revenue Recognition from September 2014 to October 2015. Furthermore, they have several roles at CareFusion, including Manager of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Advisor in both International Commercial Operations Finance and Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. Burton also worked at Cardinal Health as a Financial Development Program Analyst in Internal Controls and Services, and at Baxter International Inc. as a Financial Development Program Analyst in Audit.

Chris Burton attended Miami University from 2004 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and English. In 2006, they briefly studied International Law and International Accounting at the University of Louisville.
