Omkar Mahadik

Omkar Mahadik is a Clinical Psychology Intern at Overcome since February 2024, focused on delivering cost-effective interventions through motivational interviewing for clients with mild behavioral difficulties and mental health issues. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Psychologist at Clinical Partners, where Omkar conducted semi-structured interviews as the first point of contact for clients. A former Healthcare Assistant at Nightingale Healthcare Solutions Ltd, Omkar provided personal care to residents with cognitive disorders. Additionally, Omkar has experience as a Physics Tutor at The Brilliant Club and as a student ambassador for the University of Plymouth. Observership at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College allowed Omkar to gain insights into psychiatric practices, and a volunteer position as a Communicational English Teacher through Times of India expanded teaching skills. Omkar holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Plymouth and a BA with distinction in Psychology from S K Somaiya Vidyavihars College of Arts Science & Commerce.
