Dawn Aitken

Dawn Aitken is the current Operations Manager at OWASP. Dawn has over fifteen years of experience in progressively responsible positions in operations and management.

Dawn started their career as an Expediting Manager at Expo Design Center from 2000 to 2003. Dawn was then Purchasing Manager at Amendola Marble & Stone Center, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. In this role, they were responsible for purchasing office, maintenance, and production supplies, as well as overseeing company inventories. Dawn also managed daily operational issues, scheduled deliveries and employee schedules, and implemented systems with audit control to reduce shrink. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Sales Specialist at Macy's.

In their current role as Operations Manager at OWASP, Dawn is responsible for the overall operation of the organization. This includes managing finances, human resources, administration, and event planning. Dawn is also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of OWASP.

Their manager is Andrew Van Der Stock, Executive Director. They are on a team with Lisa Jones - Chapter & Membership Manager, Kelly Santalucia - Director, Events & Corporate Support, and Harold Blankenship - Director, Technology & Projects.
