Roger Nussman

Senior Engineering Lead at Owens Corning

Roger Nussman has over 35 years of experience in the process industry. Roger started their career at Bowater in 1990 as a Group Leader in Pulp Technical. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as an Operations Coordinator, overseeing various operations including batch digesters, bleach plant, and market pulp dryer. Roger then became a General Superintendent, managing the Thermo-mechanical pulping and Woodyard departments. In 2005, Roger managed the No.1 Paper Machine complex and later became the Superintendent of Chemical Preparation & Pulping at AbitibiBowater, Inc. In 2007, they joined Resolute Forest Products as the Engineering Manager, responsible for capital budget administration and project management. Currently, they are a Senior Engineering Lead at Owens Corning, leading various projects and leveraging their 35 years of industry experience.

Roger Nussman attended North Carolina State University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Pulp & Paper Technology - Engineering from the same institution. In 1995, they enrolled in Winthrop University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 1995 and 1997.
