Martha MacKenzie

Martha Mackenzie currently serves as the Executive Director of the Civic Power Fund, the UK’s first pooled donor fund for community organising, since January 2022. Additionally, Martha is a member of the Board of Trustees at Oxfam and previously held the position of Global Head of Humanitarian Advocacy at UNICEF, where strategic advocacy and communication for global humanitarian issues were developed. Martha's extensive background includes directorship roles at Save the Children UK, where leadership on UK poverty policy was provided, and significant public affairs work at Shelter UK, focusing on homelessness. Martha's early career included leadership roles in student government at the University of Oxford and community organising roles with Movement for Change. Martha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics from the University of Oxford.
