Joshua Hughes

Joshua Hughes is an experienced Principal Scientist at Oxford Biomedica since January 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, where Joshua applied Design of Experiments methodology to develop a CD4+ T cell manufacturing platform. Joshua's career at Oxford Biomedica began as a graduate, evolving from roles in viral vector CMC and product quality to Senior Scientist in Manufacturing Sciences & Technologies, leading cross-functional activities. Joshua holds an MSc in Experimental and Translational Therapeutics from the University of Oxford and Master of Research and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Bath in Regenerative Medicine and Biochemistry, respectively.
