Sam Bedford

Sam Bedford's work experience includes holding various HR leadership roles in different companies. Sam is currently the Head of Human Resources at Oxford BioTherapeutics since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Interim Human Resources Director at Genactis from May 2021 to November 2022, and as an Interim HR and Talent Director at Synaptiq Health from May 2021 to July 2022. Before that, Sam was the UK HR Director at Adaptimmune from January 2020 to May 2021.

Earlier in their career, Sam served as the HR Director at Oxitec Ltd from February 2018 to January 2020, the HR Director at P2i from January 2017 to February 2018, and the HR Director at Lawton Communications Group from April 2011 to November 2016. Sam Bedford's education history begins in 1978 at Hawley Place School, where they completed their O Levels. They then attended Farnborough Sixth Form College from 1983 to 1985 and obtained their A Levels in English, Sociology, and History. Following this, Sam enrolled at Bournemouth University from 1985 to 1988, majoring in Business Studies. In 1988, they attended the University of West London, where they earned a Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management (PDPM) in 1989.
