Anja Searle

Anja Searle (née Hayen) is an experienced science professional currently serving as a Science Technician specializing in Chemistry at Europa School UK, where responsibilities include enhancing chemistry education and supervising students. Anja also supervises students pursuing the International Baccalaureate MYP Project in German, providing support and guidance for project development. In addition, Anja holds the position of Honorary Researcher at Oxford Brookes University, contributing to the design of randomized controlled trials related to cognitive effects of pharmacological compounds. Anja's prior experience includes serving as Director of Neuroscience at Cambridge Cognition Plc and Head of Health and Wellbeing Neuroscience Research at Givaudan. Anja has also been involved in numerous research roles at various universities, including a significant tenure as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Reading focusing on nutrition's impact on cognition and emotion. Anja holds a DPhil in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, alongside an MSc in Neuroscience and a BSc in Biology & Psychology.
