Paul Whaley

Paul Whaley currently serves as Editor in Chief at Evidence-Based Toxicology since July 2022, focusing on innovative publishing practices in toxicological and environmental health research. As a Research Fellow at the Evidence-Based Toxicology Collaboration and an Honorary Researcher at Lancaster University, Paul contributes significantly to advancing systematic review methodologies and environmental health policy. Paul has previously held roles such as Associate Editor for Systematic Reviews at Environment International, promoting research synthesis in environmental health, and worked as a Research Consultant through WhaleyResearch since 2010, specializing in systematic review methods. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science from Lancaster University, complemented by degrees in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews and the University of Leeds.
