Principle Software Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

Richard Crewe's work experience begins in 1996 when they worked as a Software Engineer at BAE Systems, where they were involved in software testing and development for various aviation projects. Richard then moved on to Celoxica in 2000 as a Software Engineer. From 2003 to 2014, Richard worked as a Software Engineer at OCZ Technology, where they developed drivers and worked on Linux kernel development for NAS (Network Attached Storage) SoCs. In 2014, they became a Postgraduate Student at the University of Reading, where they completed an MSc in Cybernetics with a focus on various topics including control systems, neural networks, and bio-mechanics. In 2016, Richard joined Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in writing software for DNA sequencers in a cross-platform environment.

Richard Crewe obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds, from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, completed in 2014 to 2015. In 2013 to 2014, Richard attended The Open University, although the exact degree and field of study remain unknown.
